  Even better than we imagined!

  Riptide was amazing!!! We knew they were going to be good from their recordings but they blew our minds at the wedding! They were super speedy setting up, very attentive and listened to all requests. To put into perspective, they got the grooms grandad to be part of the dance floor most of the night and he was bound to a wheelchair unable to walk just a year ago. Not to mention the brides dad who were busting moves most of the night (have never actually seen him dance before). They even played a little extra song special for the grandad after having spoken to him in between the sets. The music they played in between was perfect, they read the crowd really well. They were honestly super talented and we wish we had another event coming up just to get to hear them play some more songs from their (awesome) repertoire. One of our friends is now considering them for their upcoming wedding if that doesn’t tell you enough.

  Stunning Set by Riptide

  We booked Riptide for a joint 30th & 60th Birthday party at a village hall and they didn’t disappoint! The sets were spot on and quite frankly rocked the crowd. Their versions were terrific and even learnt a new song for us and smashed it. I would thoroughly recommend Riptide, very accommodating and great communication with them ahead of the event.

  Really great music, presence and atmosphere, which had everyone on their feet and dancing throughout both sets (first set older pop/rock classics - 60s / 70s), before the band moved onto a more contemporary second set (90s - present). They really were the highlight of the evening. Thanks!!

  Alex and the band were awesome, so many people at our wedding commented that the band were great, and some even wanted to know their name so that they could try and book them too!! We always wanted a band that did not sound like the normal horrible wedding singers and more of an actual rock/indie band that the lead singer could actually sing, which seems quite hard to find!! We found this with Alex and Riptide and were impressed by their performances online, however this can be misleading with some bands, but it wasn’t with Riptide, and we were so happy with how they performed.

  It was a pleasure to have Alex and Riptide at our wedding! They played our first dance and then two amazing sets, despite the extreme heat they were able to get everyone on their feet having an amazing evening, and a fantastic atmosphere - all our guests commented how fantastic they were! I need to find another reason to book them again!

  My husband and I knew that we wanted a fun, young band to get everyone up on the dance floor and Riptide definitely did not disappoint. They played a huge variety of songs from different eras to satisfy all ages and made sure to include all of the songs that we wanted in the DJ playlists in between their sets. Communication with the band leading up to the wedding was great and they were always quick to respond to emails. They were absolutely fantastic and we both agree that they made our amazing day even more special. We would highly recommend them for any couples looking for a band for their wedding.

  Absolutely made our wedding evening! Turned up and were super friendly, personable and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Set up with absolutely no fuss and chilled in the garden until it was show time. Both sets they did were absolutely impeccable and they absolutely knew the vibe of the wedding and played the best songs to fit. Everyone was up and dancing at some point and we couldn't have had a better experience with them! Would absolutely highly recommend to anybody looking for a wedding band

  Riptide were absolutely fantastic at our wedding, they played a great setlist of hits that both older and younger guests all enjoyed but despite spanning different eras it all flowed naturally and they kept the dance floor busy from beginning to end. Could not recommend highly enough if you're looking for a guitar based band for your event.
